Hadith 29548
٢٩٥٤٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن هارون بن سعد عن أبي الضحى قال: كنت مع ابن عمر في فسطاطه فسأله رجل عن رجل قتل مؤمنًا متعمدًا، قال: فقرأ عليه ابن عمر: ﴿وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيْهَا﴾ إلى آخر الآية، فانظر من قتلت (١).
Hazrat Abu Duhah narrates that I was with Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) in his tent when a man asked him about a person who has intentionally killed a believer. So Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) recited this verse: Whoever intentionally kills a believer, his punishment is Hell; he will abide therein forever. So reflect upon what you have killed!
