الرجل يضرب الرجل حتى يحدثExplanation of a Man Who Beat Another Until He Became Impure (Hadath)
Hadith 29463
٢٩٤٦٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن يحيى بن سعيد أن رجلين من الأعراب اختصما بالمدينة في (زمان) (١) عمر بن عبد العزيز فقال أحدهما لصاحبه: ⦗٢٠٩⦘ ضربته، واللَّه حتى (سلح) (٢)، فقال: اشهدوا فقد واللَّه صدق، فأرسل عمر بن عبد العزيز إلى سعيد بن المسيب يسأله عن رجل ضرب رجلا حتى (سلح) (٣)، هل في ذلك (أمر) (٤) مضى أو سنة؟ قال سعيد: قضى فيها عثمان بثلث الدية (٥).
Hazrat Yahya bin Saeed narrates that during the time of Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz, two villagers had a dispute in Madinah. One of them said to his companion: "By Allah, I beat him until his excrement came out." The other said, "Bear witness that by Allah, he has spoken the truth." Then Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz sent a messenger to Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib and asked: "If a man beats someone until his excrement comes out, is there any ruling or Sunnah regarding this?" Hazrat Saeed replied: "In this case, Hazrat Uthman decided on one-third of the blood money (diyat)."
