من كان يكره أن يمر الرجل بين يدي الرجل وهو يصليThose who disliked anyone passing in front of a praying person
Hadith 2945
٢٩٤٥ - حدثنا ابن علية عن أيوب قال: قلت لسعيد بن جبير: (أدع) (١) أحدا يمر بين يدي؟ قال: لا. قلت: فإن أبى؟ قال: فما تصنع؟ قلت: بلغني أن ابن عمر كان لا (يدع) (٢) أحدا يمر بين يديه. قال: إن ذهبت تصنع صنيع ابن عمر دق أنفك (٣).
Ayyub says that I asked Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair, "If someone tries to pass in front of me (while I am praying), should I let him pass?" He replied, "No." I said, "What if he insists on passing?" Hazrat Saeed said, "Then what will you do?" I said, "I have heard this statement from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): 'When any of you is praying, he should not let anyone pass in front of him.'" Hazrat Saeed said, "If you want to follow the practice of Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), then break your own nose!"
