الحر يقتل عبد غيرهExplanation of a Free Person Who Kills Another's Slave
Hadith 29322
٢٩٣٢٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبيدة بن حميد عن (سهيل) (١) بن أبي صالح عن سعيد بن المسيب قال: سألته عن رجل حر قتل مملوكًا؟ قال: يقتل به، ثم رجعت إليه، فقال: يقتل به، (ثم قال) (٢): واللَّه لو اجتمع عليه أهل اليمن لقتلتهم به.
Hazrat Suhail bin Abi Salih narrates that I asked Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib about a person who has killed a slave. He replied: He will be killed in retaliation for that slave. The narrator says: I went to him again, and he said: He will be killed in retaliation for that slave. Then he said: By Allah! If all the people of Yemen were to gather for the killing of that slave, I would kill all of them in retaliation for that slave.
