Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Amir Sha'bi narrates that Hazrat Shurayh, regarding a woman who freed a man and then died, gave the following ruling: the inheritance (wala’) will go to her children, and the blood money (diyah) will be obligatory upon her family relatives. The narrator says: Hazrat Amir Sha'bi used to say that the wala’ will go to the children of that woman, and the diyah will be obligatory upon the family relatives.
