Hadith 29140
٢٩١٤٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة عن مجالد عن الشعبي عن شريح قال: من أخرج من داره شيئًا إلى طريق فأصاب شيئًا فهو له ضامن من حجر أو عود، أو حفر بئرًا في طريق المسلمين تؤخذ ديته ولا يقاد منه.
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that Hazrat Shurayh said: Whoever places anything from his house onto the pathway, such as a stone or wood, or digs a well in the path of the Muslims, and then someone is harmed by it, that person will be held liable; blood money will be taken from him, but retribution (qisas) will not be taken.
