Hadith 29138
٢٩١٣٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن عطاء بن السائب عن شريح قال: كان يضمّن اصحاب البلاليع التي يتخذونها في (الطريق) (١) [و (بواري) (٢)] (٣) البغال، والخشب (الذي) (٤) يجعل في الحيطان، وكان لا يضمن الآبار الخارجة التي امام الكوفة في الجبانة والتي في المقابر، وما جعل منفعة للمسلمين.
Hazrat Shurayh used to require compensation for damages caused by pits and wells made on pathways, and similarly, he would require compensation for damages caused by wood placed on walls. However, he would not require compensation for wells constructed outside the city of Kufa in graveyards or for the benefit of Muslims.
