Hadith 28986
٢٨٩٨٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن جابر عن الشعبي قال. إذا فقئت عين العبد أو (قطعت) (١) يده أو رجله فعليه نصف قيمته، وإذا فقئت عيناه أو قطعت يداه أو (قطعت) (٢) رجلاه دفعه وعليه قيمته.
Hazrat Sha'bi said that if a slave's one eye is damaged or one hand or foot is cut off, then half of his value will be obligatory upon the one who caused it, and if both eyes are damaged or both hands or feet are cut off, then the full value will be obligatory upon him.
