Hadith 28943
٢٨٩٤٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص عن حجاج عن حصين الحارثي عن الشعبي عن الحارث عن علي قال. ما جنى العبد ففي رقبته، ويخير مولاه، إن شاء فداه وإن شاء دفعه (١).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If a slave commits an offense, it will be upon him, and his master will have the choice—if he wishes, he may pay the compensation, or he may hand over the slave in exchange.
