اليد (يقطع) منها بعد ما قطعتRuling on the Hand that is Cut After the Wrist
Hadith 28678
٢٨٦٧٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن بكر عن ابن جريج قال: قلت لعطاء: أرأيت إن قطعت اليد من شطر الذراع؟ قال: خمسون، قلت: فقُطع شيء مما (بقي) (١) بعد؟ قال: (جرح) (٢) لا أحسب إلا ذلك، إلا أن (يكون) (٣) في ذلك (سنة) (٤).
Hazrat Ibn Jurayj said that I asked Ata: What is your opinion if the hand is cut off from the middle of the wrist? He replied: The compensation will be fifty camels. I asked: If later some more part of the remaining hand is also cut off, then what? He replied: In my opinion, only the compensation for the wound will be given, unless a hadith is found regarding this matter.
