Hadith 28448
٢٨٤٤٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص عن أشعث عن الحسن أن عمر وعثمان قوما الدية وجعلا ذلك إلى المعطى، إن شاء فالإبل وإن شاء فالقيمة (١).
It is narrated from Hasan that Umar and Uthman assessed the value of blood money and handed it over to the one who was to pay; if he wished, he could give camels, and if he wished, he could give the value.
