Hadith 28434
٢٨٤٣٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن (سليمان) (١) عن محمد بن إسحاق عن عطاء أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ وضع الدية على الناس في أموالهم ما كانت: على أهل الإبل مائة بعير، وعلى أهل الشاء ألفي شاة، وعلى أهل البقر مائتي بقرة، وعلى أهل (البرود) (٢) مائتي حلة، قال: وقد جعل على أهل الطعام شيئًا لا أحفظه (٣).
Hazrat Ata said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prescribed blood money for people from their wealth: for those who owned camels, one hundred (100) camels; for those who owned goats, two thousand goats; for those who owned cows, two hundred cows; and for those who owned cloth, two hundred garments. Ata says that he also prescribed something for those who owned grain, but I do not remember what it was.
