Hadith 28419
٢٨٤١٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن غالب العبدي عن رجل من بني تميم عن أبيه عن جده أو جد أبيه قال: قلت: يا رسول اللَّه إن أبي يقرئك السلام، قال: "عليك وعلى أبيك السلام"، قلت: يا رسول اللَّه! إن قومي يريدون أن يعرفوني، قال: "لا بد من عريف والعريف في النار" (١).
Hazrat Ghalib Abdi narrates that a person from the tribe of Banu Namir relates from his grandfather that he said: I submitted: O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him! My father sends you greetings. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Peace be upon you and your father as well. I submitted: O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him! My people wish to appoint me as a supervisor. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A supervisor is necessary. And the supervisor will be in Hell.
