Hadith 28086
٢٨٠٨٦ - حدثنا ابن علية عن الجريري عن المضارب بن (حزن) (١) قال: قلت لأبي هريرة: أسمعت من نبيك شيئًا (فحدثنيه) (٢) قال: نعم، قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا عدوى ولا طيرة ولا هامة، وخير الطيرة الفال، والعين الحق" (٣).
Hazrat Muzarib bin Hazn narrates that I submitted to Hazrat Abu Hurairah: If you have heard any hadith from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), please relate it. He said: Yes. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no reality in contagion, no reality in bad omens, no reality in Haamah, and the best omen is a good one, and the evil eye is true.
