Hadith 28084
٢٨٠٨٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن أبي جناب عن أبيه عن ابن عمر قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا عدوى ولا طيرة ولا هامة"، فقام إليه رجل فقال: يا رسول اللَّه البعير يكون به الجرب (فيجرب) (١) الإبل؛ قال: " (ذلك) (٢) القدر فمن أجرب الأول؟ " (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no reality in contagion, no reality in bad omens, and no reality in the owl (as a bearer of ill omen). A Bedouin stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! If one camel gets mange, it infects all the camels with mange? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: This too is destiny; otherwise, who gave mange to the first one?
