Hadith 28028
٢٨٠٢٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن موسى بن عُبيدة عن محمد بن المنكدر (قال) (١): زارت أسماء أختها عائشة، والزبير غائب، فدخل النبي ﷺ فوجد ريح طيب فقال: "ما على امرأة أن (لا) (٢) تطيب وزوجها غائب" (٣).
Hazrat Muhammad bin Munkadir narrates that Hazrat Asma came to meet her sister Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) at a time when Hazrat Zubair was not present. Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered and he perceived a pleasant fragrance. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not permissible for a woman to apply perfume when her husband is not present.
