Hadith 27984
٢٧٩٨٤ - حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عبد الكريم عن مجاهد قال: كان يكره (أن يقول) (١): اللهم لا (تبتلني) (٢) إلا بالتي هي أحسن ويقول: قال اللَّه تعالى: ﴿وَنَبْلُوكُمْ بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً﴾ [الأنبياء: ٣٥].
Hazrat Abdul Kareem says that Hazrat Mujahid considered it disliked to pray in this way: "O Allah! Do not test me except with something that is very excellent," and he said that Allah, the Lord of Honor, has said: Translation: "And We will test you with evil and with good."
