Hadith 27933
٢٧٩٣٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن عمرو بن مرة (عن مرة) (١) عن رجل من أصحاب النبي ﷺ قال: قام فينا رسول اللَّه ﷺ (قال) (٢): "قد رأيتموني، وسمعتم مني، (وستسألون) (٣) عني، فمن كذب علي فليتبوأ مقعده من النار" (٤).
Hazrat Marrah narrates that a companion of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among us and said: Indeed, you have seen me and heard my words; soon you will be questioned about my words. Therefore, whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me, he should make his abode in Hell.
