Hadith 27772
٢٧٧٧٢ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا الأسود بن شيبان قال: حدثنا أبو نوفل بن أبي عقرب قال: (سئلت) (١) عائشة: هل كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ (يتسامع) (٢) عنده الشعر؟ قالت: كان أبغض الحديث إليه (٣).
Hazrat Abu Nofal bin Abu Aqrab narrates that Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was asked whether poetry was recited in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). She replied: The most disliked thing to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was the recitation of poetry.
