Hadith 27563
٢٧٥٦٣ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن ابن عون عن ابن سيرين قال: كانت لابن عمر حاجة إلى معاوية فأراد أن يكتب إليه (فقالوا) (١): لو بدأت به فلم يزالوا (به) (٢) حتى كتب: بسم اللَّه الرحمن الرحيم إلى معاوية (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Sirin narrates that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) had some business with Hazrat Muawiyah, so he intended to write him a letter. People said: If you write the letter in his name, it would be better, and they kept insisting on this until he wrote: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, to Hazrat Muawiyah.
