Hadith 27466
٢٧٤٦٦ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن شعبة عن ثابت قال: قلت لابن عمر: أُنهي عن نبيذ الجر؟ فقال: زعموا (ذلك) (١)، قال: قلت: أنت سمعته من رسول اللَّه ﷺ؟ فقال: زعموا ذلك (٢).
Hazrat Thabit narrates that I asked Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them): Has making nabidh (a type of drink) in pitchers been prohibited? He replied: Those people have said so, and used the word "za‘amū" (they claim). The narrator says: I asked, Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? He replied: Those people have said so, and again used the word "za‘amū" (they claim).
