Hadith 27164
٢٧١٦٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن جابر عن عبد الرحمن ابن الأسود عن عمه قال: رأيت ابن مسعود في الأراك مستلقيا واضعا إحدى رجليه على الأخرى وهو يقول: ﴿لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ﴾ [يونس: ٨٥] (١).
The uncle of Abdur Rahman bin Aswad narrates that I saw Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) sitting under a Pilu tree after having slaughtered a goat, with one leg placed over the other, and he was reciting this supplication: (O our Lord, do not make us a trial for the wrongdoing people).
