Hadith 27146
٢٧١٤٦ - حدثنا قبيصة بن عقبة قال: حدثنا سفيان عن محمد بن (عجلان) (١) عن عبيد اللَّه بن أبي رافع قال: رأيت أبا سعيد ورافع بن خديج وسلمة بن ⦗١٨٢⦘ الأكوع (٢) وابن عمر وجابر بن عبد اللَّه وأبا أسيد ينهكون شواربهم (أخا) (٣) الحلق (٤).
Hazrat Ubaidullah bin Abi Rafi’ says: I saw Hazrat Abu Sa’eed and Hazrat Rafi’ bin Khadij, Hazrat Salamah bin Akwa’, Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Jundub Abu Sud. All these companions would completely trim their moustaches from the roots, just like shaving the head.
