Hadith 27122
٢٧١٢٢ - حدثنا معاذ بن معاذ قال: حدثنا حبيب بن شهيد عن عبد اللَّه بن بريدة أن معاذ بن جبل أتى النبي ﷺ بدابة ليركبها، فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "رب (الدابة) (١) أحق بصدرها" قال: فقال: معاذ فهي لك يا نبي اللَّه فركب النبي ﷺ (٢) وأردف معاذًا (٣).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Buraidah narrates that Hazrat Mu'adh brought a riding animal to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so that he (peace and blessings be upon him) could ride it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "The owner of the animal has more right to ride it." Hazrat Mu'adh submitted: "O Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! This is for you." Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rode it and seated Hazrat Mu'adh behind him.
