Hadith 27009
٢٧٠٠٩ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن عطاء بن (يزيد) (١) عن أبي أيوب عن النبي ﷺ (قال) (٢): "لا يحل لمسلم (أن) (٣) يهجر أخاه فوق ثلاث، يلتقيان (يصد) (٤) هذا ويصد هذا، (و) (٥) خيرهما الذي يبدأ بالسلام" (٦).
Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not permissible for a Muslim to sever relations with his brother for more than three days. When the two meet, one turns away from the other and the other turns away from him, and the better of the two is the one who initiates the greeting of peace.
