Hadith 26875
٢٦٨٧٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة عن الوليد بن كثير عن محمد بن (عمرو) (١) (بن) (٢) عطاء عن رجل من بني حارثة عن (رافع) (٣) بن خديج قال: خرجنا مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ فرأى ﷺ (٤) رواحلنا وهي على إبلنا أكسية فيها خيوط (عهن) (٥) حمر، فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "ألا أرى هذه الحمرة قد علتكم"، فقمنا (سراعا) (٦) لقول رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "حتى نفر بعض إبلنا"، قال: فأخذنا الأكسية فنزعناها منها (٧).
It is narrated from Hazrat Rafi' bin Khadij. He says: We went out with the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Then he, peace and blessings be upon him, saw our saddles; on our camels were cloths which had threads of red wool in them. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Beware, I see that this redness is rising over you." So, because of his, peace and blessings be upon him, statement, we quickly stood up, to the extent that some of our camels became startled. The narrator says: So we grabbed the cloths and took them off.
