Hadith 26864
٢٦٨٦٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا غندر] (١) عن شعبة عن عمرو بن مرة عن ⦗٩٥⦘ سعيد بن المسيب قال: قدم معاوية المدينة فخطبنا وأخرج كبة من شعر فقال: ما كنت أرى أن أحدًا يفعله (٢)، إن رسول اللَّه ﷺ بلغه فسماه الزور (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib. He says that when Hazrat Muawiyah came to Madinah, he delivered a sermon to us and took out a tuft of hair and said: I think, only a Jew has done this. When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was informed about this, he declared this to be a lie.
