Hadith 26825
٢٦٨٢٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن الأوزاعي عن (ابن) (١) حبيب المحاربي عن أبي أمامة الياهلي صاحب رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: لقد افتتح الفتوح أقوام (ما) (٢) كانت حلية (سيوفهم) (٣) الذهب ولا الفضة، إنما كانت حليتها العلابي (٤) والآنك (و) (٥) الحديد (٦).
The companion of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Hazrat Abu Umamah Bahili narrates: He says that indeed, there were some people who achieved many victories whose swords were not adorned with gold and silver, but rather, the adornment of their swords was strips, lead, and iron.
