Hadith 26622
٢٦٦٢٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن منصور قال: حدثنا محمد بن طلحة عن حميد بن وهب عن (طاوس أو ابن طاوس) (١) عن ابن عباس قال: مر على النبي ﷺ رجل قد خضب بالحناء فقال: "ما أحسن هذا"، ثم مر عليه آخر قد خضب بالحناء والكتم فقال: "هذا أحسن من هذا"، قال: ثم مر عليه آخر (قد) (٢) خضب بصفرة (قال) (٣): "هذا أحسن من هذا كله" (٤).
Hazrat Tawoos ... or Ibn Tawoos ... narrates from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that he said: A man passed by the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) who had dyed his hair with henna. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How good this is." Then another man passed by who had dyed his hair with henna and katam. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is better than that." The narrator says: Then another person passed by who had dyed his hair with yellow color. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is better than all of that." ... Hazrat Tawoos used to dye his hair with yellow color.
