Hadith 26506
٢٦٥٠٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن مهدي عن سفيان عن زيد العمي عن أبي الصديق عن ابن عمر أن أزواج النبي ﷺ رخص لهن في الذيل (شبرًا) (١)، (فكن) (٢) (يأتيننا) (٣) (فنذرع) (٤) لهن (بالقصب) (٥) (ذراعًا) (٦) (٧).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the noble wives of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) were permitted to extend their garments by one handspan. So they would come to us and we would measure for them one cubit using a cane.
