Hadith 26303
٢٦٣٠٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن علية عن ابن عون قال: قلت لسالم الرجل يكسو أهله القز (والخز) (١) والثياب، فقال: (لقد) (٢) كنت لا أكسوهن إياه (فما زالوا بي) (٣) حتى كسوتهن إياه، وإن لم تكسه فهو واللَّه خير.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Aun that he says: I asked Hazrat Salim, "Can a man make his family wear clothes and scarves made of raw silk?" He replied: "I myself did not use to make them wear such clothes, but they insisted a lot until I let them wear it, and if they do not wear such clothes, by God, that is better."
