It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Fakhta. He says that Hubaira bin Yareem narrated to me from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that a pair of silk threads, whose warp or weft was of silk, was presented as a gift to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent that garment to me (Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him). So I (taking it) presented myself before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), what should I do with this? Should I wear it?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No. That which I do not like for myself, I do not like for you either. But you may divide this cloth as headscarves among the Fatimahs—Fatimah bint Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Fatimah bint Asad, and Fatimah bint Hamzah."
