Hadith 26180
٢٦١٨٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن عمر بن (شوذب) (١) عن عمرة بنت الطبيخ قالت: أرسلتني أمي فاشتريت جرِّيا فجعلته في زنبيل، فخرج رأسه من جانب وذنبه من جانب، فمر (بي) (٢) علي أمير المؤمنين فرآه فقال: هذا كثير طيب (يشبع) (٣) العيال (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Umrah bint Tabikh, she says: My mother sent me, so I bought a bam fish and put it in a basket. Its head came out from one side and its tail from the (other) side. Meanwhile, the Commander of the Faithful, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), passed by me and saw it. He said: This is a very pure thing; it satisfies the family.
