Hadith 26101
٢٦١٠١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (محمد بن) (١) بشر قال: حدثنا مسعر عن هلال عن عروة أنه كان إذا وضع الطعام قال: سبحانك، ما أحسن (ما تبلينا) (٢) سبحانك (ما أحسن) (٣) ما تعطينا، ربنا ورب (أبنائنا) (٤) (ورب) (٥) آبائنا الأولين، قال: ثم يسمي اللَّه جل ثناؤه ويضع يده.
Hazrat Hilal narrates about Hazrat Urwah that when food was placed before him, he would say: "You are pure. How beautiful it is. You are pure. How beautiful things You have granted us. O our Lord! O Lord of our children and O Lord of our forefathers." The narrator says: Then he would take the name of Allah, the Exalted, and place his hand (on the food).
