Hadith 26046
٢٦٠٤٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير عن إسماعيل بن (عبد الملك) (١) عن عطاء قال: (كانوا) (٢) أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﷺ إذا قُرّب الطعام (لم يمسحوا) (٣) أيديهم حتى ينقوها باللعق (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ata that he says: When food was brought to the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, they would not clean their hands until they had licked their fingers.
