Hadith 25966
٢٥٩٦٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يزيد قال: أخبرنا هشام عن الحسن (ومحمَّد قالا) (١): كان المشركون يجيئون بالسمن في ظروفهم (فيشتريه) (٢) أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﷺ (والمسلمون) (٣)، فيأكلونه ونحن نأكله (٤).
It is narrated from Hasan and Muhammad. Both of these gentlemen say that the polytheists used to bring clarified butter in their vessels, and the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and other Muslims would buy it and eat it, and we also used to eat it.
