Hadith 25960
٢٥٩٦٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن الحسن بن حكيم عن أمه عن أبي برزة أنه كان له سكان مجوس، فكانوا يهدون له في النيروز والمهرجان، فكان يقول لأهله: ما كان من فاكهة فكلوه، وما كان من غير ذلك فردوه (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Barzah that some Magians used to reside with him. And those Magians would present gifts to Hazrat Abu Barzah on the occasions of Nowruz and Mehrjan. So Abu Barzah used to say to his family: Whatever is from the category of fruits, you may eat it, and whatever is other than that, you should return it.
