Hadith 25819
٢٥٨١٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن زيد بن أسلم عن رجل من بني ضمرة عن أبيه قال: سئل رسول اللَّه ﷺ عن العقيقة (فقال) (١): "لا يحب اللَّه العقوق، من وُلد له منكم ولدٌ فأحب أن ينسك عنه فليفعل" (٢).
A man from Banu Dhumrah narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about ‘Aqiqah. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Allah does not like disobedience (to father and mother). Whoever among you has a child born to him and he wishes to offer a sacrifice on his behalf, then he should certainly do so.”
