Hadith 25796
٢٥٧٩٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أبي الزبير عن جابر ⦗٣٥٥⦘ أن أبا حميد أتى النبي ﷺ بشراب وهو في البقيع (١) فقال: ألا خمرته، ولو تعرض عليه عودا (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that Hazrat Abu Humaid brought a drink to the service of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace be upon him) was in Baqi. So he (peace be upon him) said: "Why did you not cover it? Even if you had just placed a piece of wood across it."
