Hadith 25793
٢٥٧٩٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يونس بن محمد عن فليح بن سليمان عن سعيد بن الحارث عن جابر بن عبد اللَّه قال: دخل رسول اللَّه ﷺ على رجل من الأنصار وهو يُؤتِّى الماء في حائطه، ومعه صاحب له، فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "هل عندك ماء بات في هذه الليلة في شن (وإلا) (١) كرعنا" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him). He says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went to the house of a man from among the Ansar. That person was making a water channel for his garden, and he had a companion with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you have any water that has been kept in a vessel or something similar since last night? Otherwise, we will drink directly (from the stream) with our mouths."
