Hadith 25737
٢٥٧٣٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعيل عن عبد اللَّه بن يزيد قال: لم أر أحدا كان أعجلَ إفطارا (من) (١) سعيد بن المسيب، كان لا ينتظر مؤذنا، ويؤتى بقدح من ماء فيشربه بنفس واحد لا يقطعه حتى يفرغ منه.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Yazid, who says: I have not seen anyone who hastened to break the fast more than Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib. He would not wait for the muezzin. (That is, after the time had come) a bowl of water would be brought to him, and he would drink it in one breath in such a way that he would not break his breath until he finished drinking.
