Hadith 25640
٢٥٦٤٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن محمد بن إسحاق عن يحيى بن عباد (بن) (١) عبد اللَّه بن الزبير عن أبيه قال: كنا عند عائشة، فمر (جلبةٌ) (٢) على بابها، فسمعت الصوت فقال: ما هذا؟ فقالوا: رجل ضرب في الخمر، قالت: سبحان اللَّه! سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "لا يزني الزاني حين يزني وهو مؤمن، ولا يشرب الخمر حين (يشرب) (٣) وهو مؤمن، (ولا يسرق حين يسرق وهو ⦗٣١٦⦘ مؤمن) (٤) " فإياكم إياكم (٥).
Hazrat Yahya bin Abbad bin Abdullah bin Zubair narrates from his father that he said: We were present with Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) when, during that time, near her door, she heard a sound and asked, "What is this?" People informed her that a person was being punished for drinking alcohol. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "Subhan Allah! I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'When an adulterer commits adultery, he does not commit adultery while in a state of faith; when a person drinks alcohol, he does not drink it while in a state of faith; when a thief steals, he does not steal while in a state of faith.' So beware, so beware."
