Hadith 25596
٢٥٥٩٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الرحيم (عن) (١) أشعث عن ثابت (ابن) (٢) عبيد قال: كان أبو مسعود الأنصاري يأمر أهله بقطع (المذنب) (٣) من البسر، فينبذ كل واحد منهما على حدة (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Thabit bin Ubaid, he says that Hazrat Abu Masood Ansari used to instruct his family members to separate the semi-ripe dates from the fully ripe (tail-end) dates, and then they would make a separate nabidh (date drink) from each type of date.
