Hadith 25582
٢٥٥٨٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحاق عن (النجراني) (١) قال: قلت لعبد اللَّه بن عمر: إنا بأرض ذات تمر وزبيب، (فهل) (٢) (يخلط) (٣) التمر والزبيب فننبذهما جميعًا؟ قال: لا، قلت: لم؟ (قال) (٤): إن رجلًا سكر على عهد رسول اللَّه ﷺ فأتي به النبي وهو سكران، فضربه ثم سأله عن شرابه، (قال) (٥): شربت نبيذًا، (قال) (٦): أي نبيذ؟ قال: نبيذ تمر وزبيب، قال: قال النبي ﷺ: "لا تخلطوهما فإن كل واحد منهما يكفي وحده" (٧).
Najranī narrated, he said: I asked Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), "We are people of dates and raisins. Is it permissible for us to mix dates and raisins and then make nabidh from both together?" He replied, "No." I asked, "Why?" He replied, "A man was in a state of intoxication during the blessed time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and was brought to the gathering of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in that state. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) then ordered him to be beaten, Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him about the drink. He said, 'I drank nabidh.' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, 'Which nabidh?' He replied, 'Nabidh of dates and raisins.' The narrator said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'Do not mix the two together, for each one of them is sufficient on its own.'"
