Hadith 25581
٢٥٥٨١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن (أبي) (١) إسحاق عن ⦗٣٠٠⦘ (بريد) (٢) بن أبي مريم عن أفس بن مالك قال: كنا (ننبذ) (٣) الرطب والبسر على عهد رسول اللَّه ﷺ، فلما نزل تحريم الخمر (أهرقناهما من) (٤) الأوعية، ثم تركناهما (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that during the blessed era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to make nabidh from unripe dates and ripe dates. Then, when the prohibition of alcohol was revealed, we poured out the nabidh of both from the vessels and then we abandoned both.
