Hadith 25455
٢٥٤٥٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن سفيان العطار قال: سأل رجل ماهان الحنفي (فقال) (١): يا أبا سالم! ما تقول في النبيذ؟ فقال: أقول في النبيذ: إن من حرم ما أحل اللَّه كمن أحل ما حرم اللَّه.
It is narrated from Hazrat Sufyan Attar, he says that a man asked Mahan Hanafi and said: O Abu Salim! What do you say about nabidh? He said: I say about nabidh that whoever declares the things made lawful by Allah as unlawful is just like the one who declares the things made unlawful by Allah as lawful.
