Hadith 25401
٢٥٤٠١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن (أبي) (١) (عمر) (٢) عن ابن عباس قال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ ينقع له الزبيب، فيشربه اليوم والغد وبعد الغد (إلى) (٣) أن يمسي الثالثة، ثم يأمر به فيسقى أو يهراق (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that raisins used to be soaked for the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). So he (peace and blessings be upon him) would drink that water on the first, second, and until the evening of the third day. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) would order that whatever remained be either consumed or discarded.
