Hadith 25370
٢٥٣٧٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن حصين (عن) (١) امرأة من بني شيبان أن زوجها أتاهم فحدثهم أن أمير المؤمنين عليا نهاهم عن نبيذ الجر، قال: فكسرنا جرة لنا (٢).
It is narrated from a woman of Banu Shayban that her husband came to Banu Shayban and told them that the Commander of the Faithful, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), had forbidden people from drinking nabidh (fermented drink) from a pitcher. The narrator states that after this, we broke our pitcher.
