Hadith 25337
٢٥٣٣٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير عن محمد بن أبي إسماعيل عن عمارة (بن) (١) عاصم (العنزي) (٢) قال: دخلت على أنس بن مالك فسألته عن ⦗٢٣٦⦘ النبيذ فقال: نهى رسول اللَّه ﷺ: عن الدباء والمزفت، فأعدتها عليه فقال: نهى رسول اللَّه ﷺ عن الدباء والمزفت، (فأعدتها عليه فقال: نهى رسول اللَّه ﷺ عن الدباء والمزفت) (٣) (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Amarah bin Asim Anzi, he says: I presented myself before Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) and I asked him about nabidh (fermented drink). He replied: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade (the use of) dubba and muzaffat. So I (Amarah) asked Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) this question again, and he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade dubba and muzaffat. I repeated this question to Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), and again he replied: (He) forbade muzaffat.
