Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Burdah, who says that Hazrat Umar said: Nabidh is made from five things: from dates, from raisins, from honey, from wheat, and from barley. So, whatever you cover and then leave it to become good (ferment), that will be called khamr.
